Yakindra is a Food Scientist, originally from Nepal, where he initiated his career as a Food Research Officer, serving the Government of Nepal for 13 years. He pursued his Master’s degree in Food Engineering at the Asian Institute of Technology, an experience that included time in Thailand and France. In 2013, Yakindra migrated to Australia to pursue a PhD in Food Science from RMIT University Melbourne, Australia. His career spans over two decades, marked by significant contributions to research and development organisations, academia, FMCG, NFP, and government organisations with over 30 co-authored research articles, book chapters, and conference proceedings. Holding a graduate diploma in environmental health practice, Yakindra is dedicated to enhancing the health, well-being, and quality of lives of people in Australia and around the globe.
